The Performance Center Carry Comp series of the M&P9 Shield Plus is a premium refinement of Smith & Wesson’s popular carry pistol. The handgun features the company’s new ClearSight cut designed to divert gases away from mounted optics to maintain a clear sight picture when firing. This is combined with the new Carry Comp compensator that features Smith & Wesson’s trademark Power Port, directing gasses upwards to reduce felt recoil. The compensator is built into the slide, eliminating the need for a threaded barrel.
