Ruger American Duty Pro Features
The Ruger American is a polymer framed, striker fired semi automatic pistol that is suitable for personal defense and concealed carry as well as professional duty. It features a one piece high performance glass filled nylon grip frame with three grip modules for a perfect fit, a 4.2″ barrel and Novak LoMount Carry 3-Dot sights. The trigger has a short takeup and positive reset. The Ruger American Duty Pro is equipped with ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release, and has an accessory rail for addition of an optional tactical light or laser aiming device.
Ruger’s American Duty pistol has a pre-tensioned striker system that features a powerful striker spring for positive ignition without a heavier trigger pull. It has a rigid, one-piece, precision-machined, black nitrided, stainless steel chassis with integral frame rails and fire control housing. Its modular wrap-around grip system is for the adjustment of palm swell and trigger reach to fit a wide range of hand sizes. Ergonomic grip modules lock in solidly and do not loosen.
