It features a reliable bolt guidance system with twin tool-steel guide rails, a solid receiver with an integral 11mm dovetail rail, a unique positive locking rigid barrel attachment clamp, and a last-shot hold-open bolt for added safety. The Teflon and nickel-plated sear and hammer provide crisp trigger pulls. Available in various configurations, the Model 597 may come with a wood or synthetic stock and a 16.5″ or 20″ barrel.
