Aero Precision M5 Gen 2 16.6″ FDE Handguard Features
This Gen 2 model incorporates a refined design with quick-detach sling sockets at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, milled flats for enhanced grip, and an updated continuous top Picatinny rail profile. Built from 6061-T6 aluminum, the one-piece free float body ensures rigidity while reducing weight and enhancing heat dissipation. Anti-rotation tabs prevent unwanted shift under recoil or pressure, maintaining rock-solid alignment.
With an internal diameter of 1.72″ and an expanded barrel nut cut area of 1.78″, it fits most 1.5″ suppressors and common muzzle devices. Designed to pair with low-profile gas blocks, this M-LOK handguard is ideal for those building precision DMRs or heavy-duty AR-10 platforms. Barrel nut is NOT included and must be purchased separately.
