Product Description:

The Dissent Mk4 features a bufferless receiver designed for use with folding stocks and braces along with intermediate cartridges like the popular 5.56x45mm NATO. The Dissent utilizes CMMG’s patented Compact Action system, allowing for reliable direct impingement operation without the need for a buffer tube assembly. The Dissent also sports a side charging handle forward of the action, making manipulation of the charging handle easier for chambering rounds or clearing malfunctions. The non-reciprocating charging handle is easily reversible for left-handed users.

New for 2025, CMMG introduces the Dissent Mk4 in the .338 ARC caliber, offering the versatility of the AR15 platform with the stopping power of a large bore cartridge. The .338 ARC cartridge aims to combine sub or supersonic capabilities with more energy on target and simplified gas system tuning when switching between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations. This model includes a Z-series linear compensator and CMMG’s MLOK handguard.

This model is a pistol configuration featuring a 6.5-inch barrel and a Titanium Cerakote finish. It comes with a 10-round magazine and an optic-ready design with a 1913 picatinny optic mount.
