Compact and lightweight, the Ruger LCP II features a small frame and durable construction, making it a great option for concealed carry. Additional safety features include an integrated trigger safety, a neutrally balanced sear with significant engagement, a strong spring tension, and a hammer catch to help prevent the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled.
The Ruger LCP II is similar to the original Ruger LCP 380 but includes some differences that are worth noting. One of these is the weight, with the LCP II boasting a slightly heavier build than the original model, bringing the total weight up to 10.6 oz while assisting in recoil absorption. The new trigger on the Ruger LCP 2 features a striker-fired action, making rapid firing a smoother experience. In addition to featuring the same 6-7 round max capacity in .380 auto, the LCP II also has a line of .22LR models that have a max capacity of 10 rather than the standard 6 with the .380 models. This allows you to have a lightweight pistol with the same build as the .380 but a higher capacity to use when practicing concealed-carry handling and drills.
