The steel receiver features a silky-smooth bolt action, and convenient detachable magazine for easy loading. The stock of the Gen 2 Axis has improved ergonomics and rigidity to increase shooter comfort, and accuracy compared to previous models. Fitted with a 22-inch barrel for an optimum balance of ballistic performance and handling, the Axis weighs in at 6.5lbs making it a joy to carry in the field. This scope pacakage version includes a factory mounted 3-9×40 scope.
