Built for long-range shooting the bolt-action Ruger Precision Rifle is available in several different calibers and is customizable. The cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel is easily replaceable by a competent gunsmith with AR-style wrenches and headspace gauges and the built-in 20 MOA Picatinny rail makes for easy mounting of optics or other accessories while the Hybrid Muzzle Brake reduces recoil and minimizes noise. The solidly constructed upper receiver and one-piece bolt are precision machined from pre-hardened chrome-moly steel and the lower magazine well halves are machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and hard coat anodized for increased durability.
